I think Pacquiao will destroy Marquez this time

September 30th, 2011 by bingpawii

It’s just less than a months away before the Pacquiao vs Marquez trilogy will happen on November 12th, 2011 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fight Pacquiao will defend his WBO (World Boxing Organization) Welterweight World title with the great Mexican fighter Juan Manuel Marquez. Juan Manuel Marquez is one of the fighters that has a lot of hard work to beat Pacquaio mainly due to the great combination of punches, precision and speed that can possess by Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez. No doubt this is the best boxing match of 2011 and perhaps many years. Many boxing analyst and fans are giving their prediction about the upcoming Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight and one of them is conditioning coach Alex Ariza. He said that Manny Pacquiao won’t beat Juan Manuel Marquez in their third face-off, he will destroy the Mexican champion. Ariza also said that Pacquiao will have an easier time disposing Marquez because he’s been healthier during his last few fights. The conditioning coach said Pacquiao has had difficulties in his first 2 fights against Marquez because of health issues. Now that Pacquiao has recovered, he won’t need to exert too much effort on trading punches with Marquez. So what do you think? Can Manny Pacquiao destroy and end the career of Juan Manuel Marquez? In my personal point of view Marquez has a chance to beat Pacquiao in this fight. Marquez is like a thorn to Pacquiao and he has to prove that he is better, so I have no doubt that if we will see a great Pacquiao vs Marquez fight because there will be no statues in the ring and Manny will not be a picnic as the ones used to. Marquez has a desire to win, but if you lose either way, we want to take away many questions of who will be better and we will be able to clarify what happened in their 2 previous meetings. We’ll see what happens.

Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz Fight

The announcement of the fight, which will take place on Mexican Independence Day weekend, widely considered boxing’s biggest weekend, sends shock waves across the sports pages as there is no denying that the younger, stronger and current champion Ortiz poses an extremely credible threat to Mayweather, who returns to the ring after a 16-month hiatus. It is a highly competitive and very dangerous match-up that will give fans a chance to see the sport’s biggest star against the sport’s newest star in one ring on one very special night of boxing action.

Floyd Mayweather (41-0, 25 KO’s) remains boxing’s biggest attraction, wowing crowds and generating record pay-per-view numbers each time he steps into the ring. In his last ring appearance on May 1, 2010, Mayweather dismantled Sugar Shane Mosley in a lopsided unanimous decision victory. Mayweather is no stranger to fighting on Mexican Independence Day weekend either, as prior to his sensational win over Mosley, he took on Mexican boxing star Juan Manuel Marquez on September 19, 2009, beating his opponent in spectacular fashion. During his extraordinary career, he has amassed wins over world champions such as Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Oscar de la Hoya and Ricky Hatton.

Victor Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 KO’s) is on fire. He is riding a six-fight undefeated streak including his sensational win over Andre Berto on April 16 of this year. The hard-punching southpaw proved himself throughout their 12-round battle when he survived a knock down in the sixth round and came back to drop Berto at the end of the sixth round in one of the most exciting fights in boxing this year. Ortiz, who was already known as one of the most powerful young fighters in the sport but was questioned in the past for his desire, showed the world that his heart matches his hands of steel when faced with the best in boxing. Mayweather vs Ortiz will face each other on September 17, 2011 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pure Power can Takeout Pacquiao

April 13th, 2011 by bingpawii

Shane Mosley opened his training camp in Big Bear, California to the media on Tuesday and declared he has the power to stop Manny Pacquiao. “My energy is great, at a very high level. I have a lot of power in both hands. I know Pacquiao will go right to the attack which is a great advantage for me. “I know how difficult this fight is. Pacquiao fires punches from all kinds of angles, is on his toes during late rounds and gives you different looks. “But pure power can take over all of that. I know I will be able to get good hard punches onto Pacquiao,” Mosley. Mosley fought Floyd Mayweather Jr.. May last year and lost a unanimous decision. He also figured in a sluggish draw with Sergio Mora last September. He expressed confidence he would beat Pacquiao in their May 7 (May 8 in Manila) fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mosley (46-6-1, 39 knockouts) built his case around the point of how he made his name as “Sugar” Shane, smashing smaller foes during his nine-bout run as a world lightweight champion, projecting that he’ll be able to duplicate similar strategies 12 years later against the dominant but smaller Pacquiao. The Pacquiao vs Mosley is expected to be very entertaining the in the early rounds of the fight. Mosley always has the reputation to be exciting in the early to middle rounds of his fights in recent years. He is the favorite of casual boxing fans and his fan base will be there to cheer for him to give him the extra boost. Shane Mosley, the underdog, will also be all out and will surely train like never before. This will be power versus power. Let’s see if the predictions that Pacquiao and Mosley will win via KO is correct. Due to highly expected Pacquiao vs Mosley clash, all tickets has been sold-out the fight held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
